This page explains what information TaxForge collects, how it is used, and your choices about advertising cookies. We keep this explanation short and plain.

What we collect

We do not collect the information you enter into any form generator. All generators run in your browser using JavaScript, and the text you type stays on your device — it is never uploaded to our servers, stored, or transmitted anywhere. You can close the tab and the data is gone. There is no account system, so there is nothing for us to link your entries to.

Cookies and advertising

If advertising is enabled, this site may use cookies to make advertising more relevant to you. A cookie is a small text file stored by your browser. We may serve ads through Google AdSense, which is a third-party vendor that uses cookies to serve ads based on your prior visits to this and other websites.

Google, as a third-party vendor, uses cookies to serve ads on this site. Google’s use of advertising cookies, including the DoubleClick cookie, enables it and its partners to serve ads to you based on your visits to this site and other sites on the internet.

You can opt out of personalized advertising by visiting Ads Settings at www.google.com/settings/ads, or by visiting www.aboutads.info to opt out of cookies used by third-party advertising networks that are members of the Digital Advertising Alliance. You can also disable cookies in your browser settings; the form generators themselves do not require cookies to work.

Why cookies are optional here

Because the form generators run entirely in your browser, they work with cookies fully disabled. The only time cookies matter is when ads are shown, and even then the choice to allow them is yours. If you prefer no personalized ads, the opt-out links above apply across every site that uses Google advertising, not just TaxForge.

Analytics

If analytics is enabled, we may use a privacy-friendly analytics service to understand overall traffic, such as which pages are most visited and which forms are popular. That analytics data is aggregate and is not linked to any form you create. We do not sell, rent, or share personal information with third parties for their own marketing.

Data retention and children

Because nothing you enter is stored, there is nothing to retain, delete, or hand over. The site is intended for a general audience and is not directed at children under 13; we do not knowingly collect information from children.

Third-party links and security

Pages may link to official sources such as irs.gov, the Digital Advertising Alliance, or Google settings. Those sites have their own privacy policies, and we encourage you to read them. We use standard HTTPS encryption on this site so that the pages themselves are delivered securely; the form generators still run locally with no data sent anywhere.
