About
TaxForge is a small project that publishes free, fillable IRS-style tax form templates — W-9, W-4, 1099-NEC, 1099-MISC, 1099-DIV, 1099-INT, 1099-R, and 1099-K.
Our goal is simple: give people a private, no-cost way to fill out common tax forms. Every form runs entirely in your browser, so the details you type never leave your device. There is no account, no sign-up, and no file uploaded to a server — the generator is just JavaScript running locally.
These templates are not official IRS forms and are not a substitute for advice from a licensed tax professional. Tax rules differ by situation, and a professional can tailor guidance to you.
The site is reviewed and maintained by the TaxForge editorial team. The 2026 figures shown on each form page, such as the $2,000 1099-NEC threshold, are checked against current IRS publications before each tax year.
Why we built it: tax forms are stressful enough without paying for a blank template or uploading sensitive information to an unknown service. TaxForge keeps the process simple, private, and free. If a page helps you get a form filled and filed on time, the project has done its job.
We do not sell data, we do not run a newsletter, and we do not ask for an account. The forms are the product, and the browser is the only place your entries exist. That design choice is the core of the project: privacy is not a feature bolted on later, it is how the tool works.
If you have feedback, corrections, or ideas for a form we should add, email hello@taxforge.site. We read every message and answer within two business days.
